This portion of the historic KVR railbed is now a picturesque hiking/biking trail, crossing 18 trestles and 2 tunnels, as it passes through Myra Canyon.

In 2004 a devastating forest fire had swept through the canyon wrecking havoc on this historic landmark, but dedicated volunteers have rebuilt and restored the damaged trestles, opening the trail once again for recreation.
